About You

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the centre.

To ensure Enstra Mill assets are managed, maintained and operated at their optimum at all times by implementing and sustaining best practices in maintenance management and reliability engineering.

The Reliability Manager is responsible for providing leadership in establishing, implementing and improving reliability and maintenance systems to identify, analyse and correct root causes that lead to equipment unreliability, unavailability and safety concerns.

These include systems to optimize and then maintain the health of PM documentation, predictive or preventive practices, improving capability of the maintenance work force, major maintenance, condition monitoring, site lubrication, precision maintenance, engineering initiatives and overall budget spending levels.

The Reliability Manager will work with cross functional teams (engineering/maintenance teams, manufacturers, operations, procurement, logistics, stores, vendors etc.)

Main responsibilities include :


* Lead the development, implementation and ongoing management of reliability systems, maintenance planning, condition monitoring, lubrication and precision maintenance practices to improve asset performance.


* Ensure assets are safe to operate and compliant with all internal standards and local statutory requirements, including legal appointments, machinery risk reduction, fire and explosion systems, and other compliance systems.


* Drive reliability improvement through PM optimization, failure analysis, root cause analysis, criticality analysis, reliability analytics, KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.


* Manage and develop the reliability team, supporting preventive and predictive maintenance capabilities, communications, training, and cross-functional collaboration.


* Plan and manage shutdowns, engineering spares, stores processes, MOC systems and lifecycle cost improvement activities, including redesign opportunities and critical spares management.

Required skills / Must have :


* Minimum of a BSc./B-tech Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification
