Job Description:

Summary: 

Under general supervision, safely performs advanced and expert level diagnoses, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning of production equipment in compliance with company policies  

Responsibilities: 


* Follow and comply with all safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection, etc. 



* Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support. 



* Ability to interpret and work from complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets, equipment manuals, and other related documents. 



* Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis anexpert-leveld repair of manufacturing and facility equipment. 



* Participate in continuous improvement activities 



* Perform various hot work tasks. 



* Orders supplies and repair items as necessary. 



* Set up and operate equipment being used to make and repair parts. Examples would be lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. 



* Ability to work at heights of 10'-0" or more. 



* Ability to work in tight spaces. 



* Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements: 

 


* Strong English communication skills – verbal, written & presentation; Listening  



* Office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge 



* Advanced knowledge of pneumaticOrder and hydraulic systems with general knowledge of electrical, VFD, and PLC systems. 



* Understanding of spare part inventory process 



* Ability to work independently. 



* Must be able to pass a maintenance assessment.  

 

Physical Requirements: 

 


* Ability to lift, push, pull and bend up to 50lbs unassisted
