Summary - basic function of the role

The Customer Fulfillment Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and is responsible for coordinating customer orders from receipt through delivery.

This role partners closely with customers and cross-functional teams including Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure customer commitments are accurately communicated, coordinated, and fulfilled.

The position proactively manages order activity, identifies and resolves fulfillment risks, supports production planning efforts, and drives on-time delivery through effective communication, collaboration, and execution.

The Customer Fulfillment Coordinator plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Work Location: Columbus, WI

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8 - 4:30 pm or 8:30 - 5:00 pm; flexible

Location : Milwaukee, WI

Job Duties and Responsibilities



* Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, providing responsive and professional support throughout the order fulfillment process.


* Review customer purchase orders, order changes, forecast updates, cancellations, and return requests for accuracy, completeness, and potential fulfillment concerns.


* Enter, maintain, and update customer orders within the ERP system while ensuring data accuracy and timely processing.


* Communicate proactively with customers and internal stakeholders regarding order status, product availability, shipment schedules, delivery changes, delays, and exceptions.


* Coordinate order fulfillment activities with Planning, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, and other internal teams to support on-time delivery.


* Monitor open orders and backlog to identify fulfillment risks, delivery constraints, and customer service issues requiring resolution or escalation.


* Partner with Planning and Scheduling teams to communicate customer demand changes, shipment priorities, and delivery commitments.
