As a Senior Lead Architect - Enterprise Architecture at JP Morgan Chase, you will help set and advance the firm's technology strategy and target state across several domains.
You will work across teams to shape direction, drive adoption of standards, and enable scalable, secure, and AI-enabled solutions firmwide.
You will help define and evolve architecture capabilities, build alignment among business and technology teams, and ensure target state solutions support priorities and deliver enterprise-wide impact.
Job Responsibilities
* Advise executives on architecture strategy and direction, framing trade-offs across cost, complexity, risk, and business value.
* Support executive decisioning by framing options and enabling firmwide prioritization aligned to business outcomes.
* Lead and contribute to architecture governance forums to guide decisions and ensure consistency at enterprise scale.
* Define enterprise architecture strategies, reference architectures, target states, and roadmaps aligned to firmwide priorities.
* Leverages enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate architecture analysis and decisioning with validation and appropriate handling of sensitive data.
* Guides evaluation of current and new technologies using existing standards and frameworks, influencing peers and decision-makers to adopt leading-edge solutions where appropriate
* Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
* Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert and contributes to the architecture community as an advocate of firmwide.
* Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled architecture patterns and governance across practices, ensuring traceability/auditability, resiliency, and security controls.
* Establish adoptable standards, patterns, and paved paths, using metrics to drive adoption and reuse.
* Drive alignment across architecture disciplines and partner with engineering, product organizations while identifying opportunities for simplification, modernization, and optimization.
* Evaluate emerging technologies implementation - platform choices, preferred uses, adoption paths - that stand up to scrutiny.
* Advise executives on architecture strategy and direction, framing trade-offs across cost, complexity, risk, and business value while mentoring architects for an outcome-focused architecture community.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 5 plus years of applied experience in technology architecture, strategy, and engineering.
