Global Supply & Inventory Planner - French speaking

About the Role
Join our Global ETO (Engineering-to-Order) Organization, a worldwide network supporting approximately 30 manufacturing plants across Europe, South America, the Middle East & Africa, APAC (excluding China), and Australia.

As part of our centralized Supply Chain Hub in Budapest, you will work within a global team responsible for supply and inventory planning activities supporting multiple international plants.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong analytical capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and expertise in supply chain planning processes and tools.

The Supply & Inventory Planner is responsible for ensuring optimal stock levels, balancing supply and demand, maintaining planning parameters, and driving materials availability for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupply & Inventory Planning


* Define, maintain, and optimize supply and stock management parameters.


* Ensure demand and resource balancing using MRP and related planning processes.


* Manage raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods availability.


* Resolve shortages, backorders, and supply constraints to ensure customer satisfaction.


* Manage replenishment backlogs through purchase order creation and rescheduling.


* Support product ramp-up and ramp-down activities throughout the commercial product lifecycle.

Planning Parameter Management


* Define and update planning parameters in SAP, including:



* Lead Times (LT)


* Lot Sizes


* Minimum Order Quantities (MOQ)


* Maximum Quantities (QMax)


* Incoterms

Ensure quarterly alignment of planning parameters with internal and external suppliers.

Maintain high-quality planning master data and stocking policies aligned with ETO, MTS, and MTO environments.Supply Risk & Inventory Optimization


* Identify and mitigate supply risks through strategic stock management.


* Escalate risks appropriately to Procurement and Supply Chain Planning teams.


* Monitor and optimize inventory levels across:



* Goods in Transit (GIT)


* Raw Materials (RM)


* Work-in-Progress (WIP)


* Finished Goods

Drive inventory reduction initiatives, rebalancing activities, and circular economy practices while minimizing obsolescence and scrap.Supplier Performance Management


* Measure and monitor supplier performance using key metrics, including:



* ISSR (Intra-Group Supplier Service Rate)


* S-OTD (Supplier On-Time Delivery)


* U-BOL (Upstream Back Order Lines)

Develop and implement corrective action plans to improve supplier performance.Stakeholder Management


* Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with:



* Project Management Teams


* Commercial Teams


* Front Office Teams


* Procurement


* Manufacturing Plants
