🌟 Responsibilities:

🔹 Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
🔹 Develop individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals
🔹 Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established care plans
🔹 Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and treatment techniques
🔹 Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
🔹 Complete timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
🔹 Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning as needed
🔹 Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility guidelines

🎓 Qualifications:

✔️ Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
✔️ Current Speech-Language Pathologist License (State Requirements)
✔️ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
✔️ Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred, but not required
✔️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔️ Passion for helping others achieve their highest level of independence
