Our portfolio includes a multi-petabyte S3 object store and a scale-out NAS platform.

You will:


* Work on all aspects of software development life cycle: planning, requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.


* Author and manage detailed technical specifications


* Collaborate with product owners, architects, AI agents and other engineers to define and implement technical solutions


* Coach and mentor more junior team members

Here's what we are looking for with this role:

Essential Requirements


* Exceptional programming skills with 5+ years of related experience, preferably in C, C++, Java or Python, demonstrable understanding of programming fundamentals


* Experience in filesystem/ distributed systems


* Ability to translate business requirements into precise, unambiguous technical specs


* Excellent analytical, debugging & problem solving skills


* Advanced prompting and context engineering to guide AI tools toward desired outputs


* Experience in software architecture: system design, API design, microservices, distributed systems

Desirable Requirements


* Experience in performance engineering


* Familiarity with systems/storage including protocol behaviour (NFS/SMB/S3), networking, kernel/filesystem queues, caching


* Ability to use ML/AI for anomaly detection, pattern matching, agent orchestration
