Position Summary

The Welding Lead is responsible for leading the daily activities of the welding department to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

This position provides direction, training, and support to welders while maintaining production schedules, enforcing company policies, and promoting continuous improvement.

The Welding Lead serves as the primary point of contact between the production supervisor and welding team.

We are looking for a Welding Lead for our 3 rd Shift.

What You'll Do


* Coordinates daily welding assignments to support production schedules


* Ensures welding operations meet quality standards, customer specifications, and company procedures


* Monitors productivity and labor efficiency while minimizing downtime and rework


* Inspects completed work for quality and compliance


* Communicates production priorities and schedule changes to team members


* Coordinates material flow and confirm required materials and equipment are available


* Assists with troubleshooting welding issues and resolving production problems.


* Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area using 6S principles.
