We are seeking a strategic Social Media Manager to join Koch Communications and Marketing (KCM) .

This role will develop, execute and analyze social media strategies that advance business priorities, strengthen audience engagement, support executive thought leadership and enhance Koch's reputation across social channels.

The ideal candidate is more than a content creator.

They are a business-minded communicator who can translate objectives into social strategies, manage content and channels with discipline, use data to inform decisions, partner across teams and help Koch evolve as platforms, audiences, algorithms and AI-driven discovery continue to change.

Largely based in Wichita, Kansas, we also have teammates and businesses located in Atlanta, Georgia, and across the globe.

What You Will Do

Strategy and Business Alignment


* Develop and execute social media strategies that support Koch's business priorities, audience needs and communication and marketing objectives.


* Partner across KCM, businesses, leaders and subject matter experts to align social media plans with broader digital marketing, communications, recruitment, stewardship and reputation goals.


* Monitor platform changes, audience behavior, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for optimization, experimentation and growth.

Content and Channel Management


* Source, create, schedule and manage social-first written, visual, video and multimedia content across managed channels.


* Manage editorial calendars and support integrated campaigns that deliver the right message to the right audience through the right channel.


* Capture and shape social-specific content that showcases Koch, its businesses, employees and communities in authentic and compelling ways.

Engagement, Thought Leadership and Reputation


* Support executive and business thought leadership by identifying content opportunities, developing recommendations and helping leaders engage authentically with key audiences.


* Build audience relationships through proactive engagement, listening and two-way dialogue, while helping cultivate employee advocacy and ambassador opportunities.


* Monitor social channels, manage community activity and elevate emerging issues, reputational risks or sentiment trends through appropriate escalation and governance processes.
