When you join our team as a Pre-K Family Worker you will:
* Collaborate with the School District staff to ensure that activities for family involvement and social services occur.
* Coordinate participation in health and social services designated by the School District to serve the needs of the children and their families.
* Provide all requested data to the School District.
* Report to the Center Director and collaborate with appropriated District social services staff.
* Meet requirements for family visits as outlined by the School District
* Not serve as teacher, administrator, substitute, or in any other capacity during the same hours as you are serving as the family worker.
Required Skills and Experience (additional bullets can be added if needed)
* Meet state specific Pre-K education requirements for the role
* Deliver a warm, responsive, and service-oriented experience for children and families
* Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
* Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
* Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English
Range of pay $15.00 - $35.00 Hourly
In the state of Minnesota, we currently provide an additional $3.00 per hour premium on all classroom hours worked in addition to the range of pay listed.
This premium is funded through the Minnesota Great Start Grant Compensation Support Program.
