Quality Control Technician - Ready Mix Concrete

Quality Control Technician - What Will You Do?

•    Perform tests on concrete and all components used in the manufacturing process.
•    Record the results of testing and report results to NESL management for quality improvement.
•    Maintain required records in compliance with PennDOT and PA Turnpike standards.
•    Assist plant supervisors in diagnosing and remediating issues with concrete products.
•    Collect, record, and process any material certifications required for products.
•    Be willing to learn and assist with all aspects of plant operations.
•    Take a hands-on approach by assisting with physical and production-related tasks throughout the plant as operational needs require.

Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?

•    Strong work ethic and enthusiasm to learn new skills.
•    Strong attention to detail.
•    Ability to collaborate and communicate across the business with all coworkers.
•    Previous experience in concrete or blacktop quality control, materials testing, highway construction or a related field is preferred but not required.
•    Willingness to acquire required concrete testing certifications within 18 months of employment.
•    High school diploma or equivalent.
