Central Gardens Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our nursing team.

As an LVN, you will play a vital role in providing quality resident care, administering treatments and medications, supervising nursing assistants, and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Position Details


* Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)


* Schedule: Part-Time


* Shift: AM Shift


* Days: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday


* Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM


* Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Essential Responsibilities


* Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, resident care plans, and facility policies.


* Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.


* Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report significant changes.


* Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff during assigned shifts.


* Complete accurate and timely documentation and charting.


* Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.


* Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.


* Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.


* Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life.


* Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications


* Graduate of an approved LVN program.


* Current, active California LVN license in good standing.


* Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.


* Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.


* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
