Job Summary
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within Consumer & Community Banking Wealth Management, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities


* Execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, with the ability to think beyond routine approaches to build solutions and break down complex problems


* Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems


* Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met through disciplined engineering practices


* Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to drive continuous improvement of software applications and systems


* Collaborate with user experience and user interface designers and product owners to translate wireframes and requirements into production-ready code


* Rapidly prototype features and concepts to gather user feedback and iterate before full-scale development


* Review and debug code to uphold best practices in quality, accessibility, performance, and maintainability


* Stay current with emerging user interface technologies and industry trends, and champion adoption where they improve outcomes


* Add to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect


* Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex deliverables (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards; contribute learnings and reusable patterns to improve broader team effectiveness
