Job Description:

HPE Networking is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Senior Systems Engineer to support our Mid-Telco Accounts organization.

This is a senior customer-facing technical leadership role responsible for driving technical strategy, solution architecture, and pre-sales execution for telecommunications service providers, regional carriers, broadband providers, utilities, and other network infrastructure customers.

As the trusted technical advisor, you will partner with Account Managers, Product Specialists, Solution Architects, Business Partners, and Engineering teams to develop innovative solutions that solve complex business and technical challenges.

You will influence customer network strategy while helping organizations modernize IP, transport, data center, and AI-ready networking environments.

The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in Juniper routing , switching and security platforms (MX, PTX, QFX, EX and SRX) along with extensive experience with JUNOS and JUNOS Evolved (JUNOS EVO).

This individual is comfortable engaging everyone from network operators and architects to CTOs and executive leadership, translating complex technologies into business outcomes.

This position requires both exceptional technical depth and executive presence.

You will lead architectural discussions, influence strategic technology decisions, guide complex proof-of-concepts, and serve as a technical mentor across the Systems Engineering organization.

What You Will Do


* Serve as the principal technical advisor for assigned Mid-Telco and Service Provider accounts.


* Build trusted relationships with customer executives, CTO organizations, network architects, engineering leaders, and operations teams.


* Lead executive-level technology discussions focused on network modernization, automation, AI-driven operations, cloud connectivity, and next-generation routing architectures.


* Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions to understand customer business priorities, technical requirements, operational challenges, and long-term network strategy.
