Director, ETO Factory Management

Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing facility in Brossard, Quebec, one of our large sites within our Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing network.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the site, leading a cross-functional manufacturing organization across operations, supply chain, planning, safety, quality and people leadership.

Supported by an established leadership team and growing customer demand, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting profitable growth and shaping the next phase of the facility's evolution.

What you'll be doing


* Lead the overall performance of the Brossard manufacturing facility, with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial results.


* Provide strategic and operational leadership across manufacturing, supply chain, planning, procurement, engineering support, quality, health and safety, and human resources.


* Support the continued growth of the facility by scaling operations, increasing capacity and driving operational excellence while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and employee engagement.


* Lead Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and capacity planning activities to align customer demand with manufacturing capabilities and business objectives.


* Develop, coach and inspire a high-performing leadership team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.


* Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, leaders and union representatives in a unionized manufacturing environment.


* Drive operational and financial performance through disciplined execution, workforce planning, productivity initiatives and effective resource management.


* Represent the facility with customers, business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders while ensuring successful execution of business priorities and strategic initiatives.


* Identify and implement opportunities to improve performance, profitability and long-term business growth.

Success in this role requires balancing operational excellence, business performance and people leadership in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

What you bring


* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related discipline.


* Significant progressive manufacturing leadership experience within complex industrial environments.


* Experience leading large manufacturing operations through multiple levels of leadership.
