DC Operations Manager
The Distribution Center Operations Manager is responsible for the safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall performance of warehouse and distribution operations.
Reporting to the Site Leader, this role leads inbound, outbound, and inventory control functions while driving operational excellence, compliance, employee development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What will you do?
• Lead and develop warehouse supervisors and associates, fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
• Manage daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory control, and material flow activities.
• Ensure achievement of operational KPIs, service level agreements (SLAs), productivity, quality, and customer service objectives.
• Champion safety programs and maintain compliance with CTPAT, trade compliance, dangerous goods regulations, and company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean principles, Schneider Performance System (SPS), and data-driven decision-making.
• Optimize warehouse layout, capacity, resource allocation, and equipment utilization to improve efficiency.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions related to quality, delivery, and operational performance.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other functions to support operational and business objectives.
• Manage budgets, capital improvement projects, and warehouse infrastructure enhancements.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and ensure adequate staffing and resources to support business requirements.

What qualifications will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics leadership experience.
• Strong people leadership, communication, influence, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with ERP/WMS platforms, preferably SAP, Manhattan, or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and warehouse operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
