Hotel Security Officer

We are looking for an authentic and driven Security Team Member (Full-Time) to join us at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel!

What do you need to be a Security Team Member? Well, your main duties and responsibilities will be working behind the scenes and on the front line to ensure our Hotel is a safe and secure environment for our guests and colleagues (carrying out regular patrols, monitoring CCTV, managing access control, and responding to incidents when they arise).

You will also work to ensure the hotel remains fully compliant with all H&S and security regulations. 

So, we are looking for someone who has…


* Availability to work 20 hours per week (weekend availablity and flexibility for shift patterns essential)


* Previous experience working as a Security Officer within a Hotel, Leisure or Customer-Facing environment is preferred! 


* Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor License is essential for this role, as well as a strong understanding of safety and emergency procedures 


* You will be a strong and confident communicator who is able to remain calm under pressure – liaising regularly with various stakeholders whilst maintaining professionalism at all times 


* Willing to learn new things and work as part of our wider Hotel team!
