Skilled Nursing Facility in Houston, TX is currently seeking a Assistant Business Office Manager (ABOM ).

Assistant Business Office Manager

Full-time

120+ Bed SNF

The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the direction of the accounting functions of the facility in accordance with current acceptable accounting and cost reimbursement principles relating to the long-term care industry.

Assist in plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct the facility's accounting functions under the supervision of the Administrator.

Review the facility's accounting policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and make recommendations to the Administrator.

Help to establish and maintain a system of financial record keeping to include ledgers, recording payments, writing receipts, posting cash journals, prepare and make bank deposits, etc.

Qualifications:


* Must have experience with Texas Skilled Nursing Facility MCD billing and Managed MCD billing, Private Pay, and Medicaid Pending (applications) process


* A minimum of two years college required with emphasis on accounting and business.


* M ust have working knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting principles, preferably in a healthcare setting to include Medicare, Medicaid and third party billing.
