Nurse Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator (Part-Time)

Pacific Coast Post Acute is looking for a reliable and organized Nurse Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator to support our nursing team.

This role is essential in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage to meet resident care needs while maintaining compliance with facility guidelines and operational requirements.

$21.00-$25.00 per hour

Part-Time

Staffing & Scheduling


* Create and maintain nursing schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage.


* Coordinate staffing for call-offs, vacations, leaves, and open shifts.


* Monitor staffing levels based on census and resident care needs.


* Respond to urgent staffing needs and secure coverage when necessary.

Administrative Support


* Maintain accurate staffing, attendance, and scheduling records.


* Communicate schedule updates and changes to staff and leadership.


* Assist with onboarding schedules for new hires.


* Support staffing-related clerical and administrative functions.

Compliance & Coordination


* Ensure schedules meet facility policies and staffing requirements.


* Work closely with nursing leadership to address staffing concerns.


* Track attendance, tardiness, and absenteeism as directed.


* Maintain confidentiality of employee and resident information.

Qualifications


* Previous staffing, scheduling, or healthcare administrative experience preferred.


* Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is a plus.


* Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
