Work you'll do

Leads the strategic oversight and planning of data models and database structural design, development, and maintenance.

Works closely with firm development teams to deliver on major firm projects and initiatives.

Monitors the data collection processes for accuracy, concurrency, and usage and provides extensive technical, strategic advice and guidance to senior managers and technical resources in the creation and implementation of new data standards and processes.

Leads the design, evaluation, selection, implementation and support of major coding development structures.

Reviews and evaluates code performance, risk and financial analysis feasibility studies.

Provides operational support to the IT environments including application installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, data protection and recovery, business continuity, and quality assurance.

Collaborates and leads efforts with firm development teams to deliver on major firm projects and initiatives including new application functionalities, application upgrades, system environment enhancements, and business integrations.

Supports end users in data mining, analysis and interpretation of the database technologies.

Monitors industry trends and directions in code development technology and tools.

Develops and presents technical recommendations and insight to senior leadership.

Provides technical direction to the maintenance of major existing code bases.

Manages the evolving applications and business processes.

Identifies and documents specific issues and problems.

Provides insight on technical issues and leads the development of strategies and plans to resolve these issues.

Telecommuting/working from home is permissible within commutable distance.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering (any), or related field and 60 months of experience in the job offered or in a Lead Data/Information Architect-related occupation.
