Asset Management - Equity Research Analyst, Software - Executive Director

The Research Analyst is responsible for developing and assisting in the implementation of equity ideas in software and outside of technology (such as industrials).

The Research Analyst will work with the portfolio management team to recommend and execute tactical investment strategies in order to generate alpha.

The Research Analyst will collaborate with the team, to assist in communicating key aspects of the investment philosophy, process and performance of the portfolios.

The Research Analyst will prepare marketing presentations, place trades, and assist with various documentation projects.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:


* 8+ years of experience in equity analysis (buyside, hedge fund, or sellside), with a comprehensive understanding of fundamental and quantitative analysis techniques.


* Undergraduate degree required.


* Comfort and demonstrated success at making successful recommendations within software and non-tech (such as industrials).


* Ability to evaluate, recommend and implement tactical investment ideas across US markets.


* Ability to bring together specific security recommendations within the context of investment strategy, portfolio construction, and tactical investment overlays with a disciplined approach to risk management.


* Strong communication, client presentation and interpersonal skills are essential.


* Must have excellent financial modeling skills, advanced user of Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:


* Undergraduate degree in math, physics, computer science, engineering, or statistics is preferred.


* Candidates with experience in management consulting will be considered.
