Marketing, Media and Communications Coordinator

The County of Riverside's Department of Animal Services is seeking a talented Marketing, Media and Communications Coordinator for their office in Jurupa Valley, CA.

This position will be responsible for developing campaigns and producing communication and marketing materials that promote the Department of Animal Services' programs and services to both internal and external audiences.

They will oversee research, planning, and marketing of media campaigns, and organizational events.

Manage the creation and distribution of branding materials and touchpoints.

Additional responsibilities will include but not limited to designing media for digital and physical productions; direct the technical and artistic development of multi-media presentations; monitoring and developing budgets for marketing campaigns; provide support for training and community outreach activities; manage department website and social media platforms.

Desired Qualifications:
•Highly Proficient in graphic design, photography, and videography/video editing.
•Skilled in creating and editing social media videos.
•Experience in managing social media accounts and analyzing performance metrics for enterprise organizations.
•Proficiency in advertising strategies and media buying.
•Strong writing abilities for articles and scripts.
•Hands on experience with branding principles and developing marketing campaigns.
•Strong proficiency within Adobe Creative Suite products, particularly Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Photoshop.
•Technical Proficiency within SEO
•Familiarity within web design.

Competitive candidates will have media communications and marketing experience in a Public Relations role for a Public Agency (Federal, State, Nonprofit or Local government).

Additionally, those with experience within ADA media compliance design as well as those that are Bilingual in Spanish are highly desired and strongly encouraged to apply.
