Senior Electrical Engineer

RVE (an Ardurra company) is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ

Primary Function:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems design for educational, commercial, and industrial facilities.

This is a leadership-level role with responsibility for managing complex projects and mentoring junior staff while collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Primary Duties:


* Support and lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and educational projects


* Apply design expertise in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, fire alarms, and equipment selection/specification


* Act as Project Manager for electrical components of multi-discipline projects, including schedule, budget, client communication, and team coordination


* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers


* Analyze complex electrical engineering problems and propose effective solutions


* Interface with architects, civil and MEP engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure design coordination and project success


* Oversee and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards including NEC, IBC, IECC, and NFPA


* Perform quality control reviews of electrical drawings and specifications


* Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed


* Perform other duties as assigned in support of the department’s growth and success

Education and Experience Requirements:


* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline required


* 6+ years of experience 


* PE license required or the ability to pursue one.


* Ability to clarify and concisely express thoughts verbally and in written correspondence/reports/specifications
