Guest Service Associate

We are seeking a warm, polished, and genuinely hospitality-driven Front Desk Associate to join our team at one of Salem's most distinctive luxury boutique hotels.

Set within a beautiful historic property, our hotel offers guests an intimate, elevated experience where thoughtful service and meaningful connections are at the heart of every stay.

As the first and last impression of our hotel, you'll play a vital role in creating memorable moments for every guest.

Weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities:


* Greet guests with professionalism and genuine hospitality


* Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately


* Handle reservations, room assignments, and guest requests


* Prepare breakfast and treats for our guests


* Provide knowledgeable recommendations about Salem attractions, dining, and events


* Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve concerns with grace


* Maintain accurate records and handle payments securely


* Collaborate with housekeeping and management to ensure seamless operations

Qualifications:


* Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred


* Strong verbal and written communication skills


* Excellent typing skills with the ability to compose professional emails and guest correspondence clearly and efficiently


* High attention to detail in written communication and reservation accuracy


* Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure


* Proficiency with computers and reservation systems (experience with hotel PMS a plus)


* Flexible schedule with required weekend and holiday availability


* Professional presentation and positive attitude
