Hotel Room Attendant

The Room Attendant plays an important role for our home away from home, and creates a positive experience for our guests by maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment.

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of guest rooms as assigned.

Consistently ensures all areas of the hotel are cleaned to specified standards to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction.

This employee must display effective listening and communication skills, initiative, ability to work independently and in teams, and lead by example.

He/she must be able to exercise good judgment and discretion, display effective problem-solving skills, and provide excellent customer service.

Additionally, he/she must have the ability to multi-task, maintain composure under pressure, and display a high level of professionalism, integrity, and follow through.

Our housekeeping team is versatile in cleaning duties, ensuring the appearance and cleanliness of the entire hotel is up to standard.

They have the freedom to move around and attend to whatever is needed, from fulfilling guest requests and stocking carts to cleaning rooms and public areas.

Its goal is to ensure that all spaces in the hotel contribute to an exceptional guest experience.

Compensation: $17 hourly

Job Responsibilities:


* Fulfill guest requests promptly.


* Stock cleaning carts with necessary supplies.


* Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas.


* Comply with company policies and procedures.


* Maintain confidentiality and quality standards.


* Ensure a professional appearance and communication.


* Be physically active, including standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 50 pounds.


* Complete cleaning of each room in 40 minutes.


* Clean up to 10 rooms per day.

Preferred Qualifications:


* Previous related work experience is required.


* No specific licenses or certifications are required.

* You may occasionally be assigned to work at our sister hotel, The Beverly Hotel in Beverly, MA.
