We are looking for an experienced Mid-Level Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Engineer to take ownership of the design, development, and delivery of automated IT/OT solutions.

You will lead project workstreams, mentor junior team members, and serve as a technical resource for complex system challenges.

 

The Opportunity



* Design SCADA solutions using AVEVA System Platform galaxy structures, template hierarchies, and object modeling and custom SCADA .NET solutions 


* Develop complex scripting solutions for advanced functionality


* Configure redundancy, failover strategies, and disaster recovery architectures


* Lead system integration efforts between SCADA, PLCs, MES (preferably Siemens Opcenter), and enterprise systems


* Perform system sizing, network design support, and platform specifications


* Lead Computer System Validation (CSV) activities and provide on-site commissioning support


* Develop and enforce SCADA development standards, naming conventions, and best practices


* Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers


* Manage system upgrades, patches, and migrations across SCADA platform versions


* Troubleshoot complex issues related to communication, performance, and system stability


* Interface with stakeholders to gather requirements and present technical solutions

Who You Are



* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience


* 4+ years related experience

Preferred Qualifications



*  Experience with industrial protocols: OPC-UA, OPC-DA, Ethernet/IP


* Solid experience integrating with PLCs (Siemens S7, Rockwell ControlLogix, B&R, Beckhoff)


* Proficiency in T-SQL for historian data, reporting, and custom queries
