What You'll Do

As a CNA, you'll provide quality, resident-centered care while helping residents maintain dignity, comfort, and independence.

Responsibilities include:


* Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral care


* Answer call lights promptly and provide compassionate care


* Take and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output as directed


* Observe residents and immediately report changes in condition to nursing staff


* Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and restorative care


* Keep resident rooms clean, organized, and ready for admissions


* Assist residents with meals, hydration, and after-meal care


* Maintain accurate documentation and charting


* Follow infection prevention and safety protocols


* Protect resident privacy and confidentiality at all times


* Report concerns regarding resident safety, abuse, neglect, or equipment issues immediately


* Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to provide exceptional resident care

Qualifications


* Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required


* CPR certification preferred


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


* Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented


* Ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment


* Must be able to lift, transfer, reposition, and assist residents safely


* Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and professionalism
