Registered Dietitian (Full-Time)

Salinas Valley Post Acute is seeking a passionate, dedicated Full-Time Registered Dietitian to join our clinical team.

Key Responsibilities



* Assessments: Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents upon admission and routinely.


* Care Plans: Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized medical nutrition therapies (MNT).


* Collaboration: Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings with physicians, nursing, and therapy staff.


* Oversight: Partner with the culinary team to ensure menu compliance, food safety, and palatability.


* Education: Provide nutritional counseling to residents, family members, and facility staff.

Qualifications


* Credentials: Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) status by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).


* Licensure: Valid state licensure/certification if applicable.


* Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.


* Experience: Experience in post-acute care, skilled nursing, or long-term care preferred.


* Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
