What You Will Do



* Demonstrate strong commitment to safety by following all environmental, PPE, and safety standards to support an injury-free workplace


* Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to improve reliability, efficiency, and uptime


* Collaborate with team members to solve problems and support production goals


* Maintain high housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organized work environment


* Communicate work performed and equipment status clearly, both verbally and in writing


* Support quality outcomes by minimizing waste and contributing to production and performance goals


* Follow and interpret work instructions and maintenance schedules to complete planned work effectively


* Work in industrial conditions (hot, cold, humid, noisy environments) while maintaining focus on safety and quality


* Take ownership of work, operate with minimal supervision, and support training and development of teammates


* Perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing, walking, pushing, twisting, stooping) with or without reasonable accommodation

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Experience troubleshooting conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps


* Experience installing, aligning, repairing, and replacing industrial equipment


* Experience with fabrication, welding, and cutting torch


* Experience operating hoisting and lifting devices


* Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, and gearboxes


* Experience with precision alignment of motors and couplings


* Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, or hydraulic schematics

What Will Put You Ahead



* 2 or more years of Mechanical or technical training (e.g., vocational, military, or hands-on experience)


* Experience working in a wood products or manufacturing environment
