Manager, Operations

What You'll Do

You will oversee and coordinate product movement and customer service operations ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws.

You will manage facility budgets, monitor operational procedures, and maintain quality control standards while supervising and developing team members.

Regular inspections and reporting will be conducted to ensure safety, security, and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions


* Oversee product handling and customer service operations ensuring procedures and key performance indicators are met.


* Develop annual facility budgets and monitor progress towards departmental goals.


* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with food safety and occupational safety laws and guidelines.


* Manage staff including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, appraising performance, and resolving issues.


* Maintain operational procedures for shipment verification, inventory control, and quality standards for perishables.


* Ensure compliance with company policies and all Federal, State, and Local OSHA regulations including safety training and reporting injuries.


* Coordinate activities between warehouse, distribution, sales record control, and purchasing departments to ensure merchandise availability and security.


* Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.

What Experience and Education You Need


* Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required.


* Associate's Degree preferred.


* Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.


* Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Radio Frequency (RF) technology.


* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

* May require travel by automobile and airplane for business.
