Position Summary

As a Laundry Aide, you will ensure residents' clothing and linens are properly cleaned, sorted, and delivered.

Your role is essential in maintaining hygiene, comfort, and dignity for our residents.
Key Responsibilities


* Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens


* Sort laundry according to type, color, and care instructions


* Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently


* Ensure proper handling of soiled linens in accordance with infection control guidelines


* Maintain a clean and organized laundry area


* Deliver clean laundry to appropriate locations in a timely manner


* Monitor laundry supplies and report needs to supervisor


* Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures

Qualifications


* Must be at least 18 years old


* Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred


* Ability to work independently and stay organized


* Reliable and punctual for early morning shifts


* Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods


* Attention to detail and strong work ethic


* Compassion for an underserved population
