We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our collaborative in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis.

Key Responsibilities


* Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.


* Assist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence.


* Complete accurate and timely daily documentation, progress notes, and other required clinical records.


* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.


* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and discharge recommendations.


* Participate in care conferences and communicate resident progress with the healthcare team.


* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.


* Assist in training restorative nursing staff as appropriate to support resident outcomes.

Qualifications


* Current California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing.


* Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.


* Passion for providing high-quality rehabilitation services.
