We are seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our dedicated in-house therapy team.

Key Responsibilities


* Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the referring physician and interdisciplinary team.


* Provide skilled occupational therapy services according to the established plan of care.


* Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in accordance with California practice guidelines.


* Train and support Restorative Nursing Assistants as appropriate.


* Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences, rehabilitation meetings, and discharge planning.


* Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, recertifications, and discharge summaries.


* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, and safety recommendations.


* Recommend and coordinate appropriate durable medical equipment (DME) to maximize resident independence and safety.


* Report equipment concerns promptly to maintain a safe therapy environment.
