Work You'll Do

As a PROJECT - Security Engineer III on the Cyber Defense & Resilience team, you will be responsible for...


* Supporting the day-to-day performance, availability, and security of OT-focused network and monitoring solutions in classified and mission-critical environments


* Assessing network and server infrastructure to identify opportunities for optimization, hardening, and operational improvement across Linux-based environments, including CentOS, Red Hat, Rocky, and RedHawk


* Automating system baselines, patching, and administrative processes using tools such as Ansible, Bash, and Kickstart to improve consistency and reduce downtime


* Collaborating with engineering, development, and security teams to support DevSecOps practices and maintain alignment with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides, National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Risk Management Framework requirements


* Troubleshooting Linux, network, and infrastructure issues; maintaining technical documentation; and reporting progress, findings, and improvement opportunities to technical and management stakeholders
