A Brief Overview

The Engineering Manager leads the plant-level engineering and maintenance organization at the Holmdel site, supporting day-to-day maintenance execution, equipment reliability, capital project implementation, utilities, facilities, and continuous improvement.

This role is responsible for ensuring production equipment, packaging/filling lines, utilities, and site infrastructure operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineering and maintenance leader with strong manufacturing floor presence, practical troubleshooting capability, and experience supporting high-volume production equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Oversee the daily activities of the plant engineering and maintenance team, ensuring effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment, packaging/filling lines, utilities, and facility systems.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support production goals.
• Lead reliability improvement efforts, including downtime analysis, repeat failure reduction, spare parts strategy, PM optimization, and maintenance work order discipline.
• Support high-speed packaging and filling equipment, including liquid fillers, labelers, conveyors, wrappers/cello equipment, pumps, motors, sensors, VFDs, PLC-controlled equipment, and related line controls.
• Assist with capital project execution, including scope development, vendor coordination, installation, commissioning, startup support, and handoff to operations and maintenance.
