Work you'll do/Responsibilities


* Lead technical operations and enhancements for distributed Java-based claims applications (e.g., portals, API layers, claims intake engines).


* Architect and implement backend solutions using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot for distributed claims platforms.


* Lead triage and resolution for critical application outages, memory leaks, and performance bottlenecks.


* Design and maintain APIs facilitating communication between modern web applications and legacy claims systems.


* Mentor Java developers and enforce best practices in secure coding and microservices architecture.

Qualifications

Required


* 7+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.


* Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).


* Experience in health insurance domains, including provider portals and member eligibility systems.


* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience


* Limited immigration sponsorship may be available


* Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
