Medical Assistant, Apprentice

Work Schedule :

Full-time, 100% FTE.

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Pay :

We offer a competitive starting pay of $18.25 per hour.

Upon graduation from the program, pay would increase based on the Medical Assistant pay grade

We are seeking a Medical Assistant Apprentice (MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, LPN) to:


* Collaborate with pain management practitioners who provide medication management, interventional treatments, pain psychology, addiction counseling and support groups.


* Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.


* Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, document chief complaint, medications, and allergies, and assist with treatments .

Qualifications


* High School Diploma or equivalent Required and


* Formal acceptance into the UW Health Medical Assistant Clinical Apprentice Program Required

Work Experience


* 1 year of prior work experience Required

Licenses & Certifications


* CPR/BLS certification within 120 Days Required
