Sr ESH Specialist

The Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) Specialist leads all ESH programs for our manufacturing facility, driving a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

This role partners with plant leaders to manage environmental, health, safety, security, and emergency preparedness initiatives while ensuring compliance, reducing risk, and supporting operational excellence. 
 



* Lead and coordinate all Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) activities across the plant, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and full implementation of action plans. 



* Drive achievement of ESH targets by promoting a strong safety culture, continuous improvement, and compliance with internal and external standards. 



* Oversee planning and execution of ESH programs, including occupational safety, environmental protection, plant security, fire prevention, and occupational health services. 



* Ensure compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and internal ESH requirements, including permits, audits, and inspections. 



* Lead risk management and emergency preparedness by conducting risk assessments, implementing crisis response plans, and ensuring effective incident investigation and corrective actions. 



* Manage ESH budget and cost center, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and achievement of financial targets. 



* Monitor and report ESH performance through KPIs, driving data-based improvements and standardization across the organization. 



* Develop and coach employees and leaders on ESH principles, delivering training programs and fostering continuous capability building.

 



* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering, natural sciences or related discipline



* 7+ years of professional experience in various ESH functions



* 2+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing processes



* Advanced experience in implementation and management of security systems, fire prevention and protection systems, health management, environmental protection and occupational safety management systems, hazardous substance management.



* Advanced knowledge in implementation of ESH legislation, principles, framework, methods and tools



* Advanced knowledge in problem solving and decision making



* Advanced communication skills (incl.

presentation, change management, negotiation and conflict resolution techniques)



* Project management skills, tools and techniques preferred 


* Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
