Your Role: National Retail Manager

As the National Retail Manager, you will be the engine room of sales excellence for Elanco’s Pet Health business, turning strategy into high-performance reality at the shelf.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for transforming the sales team into influential retail partners through on-the-ground coaching, strategic execution, and capability building across Australia.

Your Responsibilities:


* Conduct regular field accompaniment and coaching with Territory Managers to observe and refine retail selling techniques and influence store-level decision-makers.


* Translate national account plans into actionable store-level tactics and deliver engaging training initiatives to drive retail staff advocacy for Elanco products.


* Partner with Regional Sales Managers to identify capability gaps and develop tailored development plans to master product launches and complex negotiations.


* Secure premium shelf space and off-location displays within key retail accounts by acting as a subject matter expert on the Australian pet specialty landscape.


* Track and report on team growth, market trends, and "Perfect Store" execution levels using Elanco’s performance and skill metrics.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):


* Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level of experience


* Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales coaching or senior sales roles within the FMCG, Retail, or Animal Health sectors


* Exceptional communication and influencing skills; current Australian driver’s license.
