Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

This role is essential to ensuring resident comfort, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities


* Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas


* Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize assigned areas


* Clean lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and other public spaces


* Empty trash receptacles and replace liners


* Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, dispensers, and other surfaces


* Dust and sanitize handrails and high-touch areas


* Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectively


* Follow all safety procedures, infection control guidelines, and chemical handling protocols


* Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and supplies in a clean and organized manner


* Report safety concerns, maintenance issues, and supply needs promptly


* Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors


* Work independently and as part of a team to meet facility cleanliness standards

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred


* Previous housekeeping experience preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus


* Ability to follow instructions, policies, and safety procedures


* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness


* Good communication and interpersonal skills


* Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
