Job Description:
HPE is seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead our internal investigations team and manage government investigations related to our Standards of Business Conduct.
This key leadership role reports to the Vice President of Investigations within the Ethics & Compliance Office and offers the opportunity to influence global compliance initiatives.
This is an office based role located in either Washington, DC or King of Prussia, PA.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead complex internal and external investigations into allegations of misconduct.
* Provide strategic legal guidance on government investigations.
* Collaborate with internal teams and outside counsel to resolve legal issues.
* Prepare detailed investigation reports for executive review and law enforcement.
* Represent HPE before industry and government agencies.
* Travel regionally and internationally as needed (should be no more than 10-15%).
Experience and Skills
* JD or LLB, with 10+ years of legal experience, ideally from a top law firm (AMLA 100 or equivalent), government, or in-house legal team.
* Proven expertise in managing investigations, particularly in ethics, compliance, and government contexts (Justice Department, SEC experience preferred).
* Strong judgment, independence, and ability to handle complex, high-pressure situations.
* Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness.
