Appian Lead Developer

Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS154, T4, Band 7

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

- 7+ years of hands-on Appian development experience (design, configuration, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications) using Appian 17.x or later.

- 3+ years in a technical lead or senior developer capacity, leading small-to-medium development teams.

- Proven experience delivering mission-critical applications within federal or highly regulated environments.

- Appian Certified Lead Developer (ACD-301) strongly preferred.

Active Appian Senior Developer certification with a clear, immediate path to Lead will be considered.

- Proficient in SQL/Relational Databases.

- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

- Strong, hands-on experience with Agile software development.

Security & Compliance

- U.S.

Citizenship Required: Required due to federal contracting requirements.

- Must be able to pass a government-sponsored background investigation.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance (Active clearance highly preferred).

-Knowledge of FISMA, NIST, Section 508, and records management compliance.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
