Hourly Rate
$19.75

Summary

Assists in overseeing all banquet and beverage activities.

Supervises room set-ups, service and clean-up of all banquet functions.

May assist in scheduling required staff for banquet functions and maintains banquet equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Consults with Supervisor, Manager or Chef on such items as serving arrangements and additional employees and equipment needed.


* Hires and supervises temporary banquet employees.


* Requisitions table linen, china, glassware, and silverware.


* Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness.


* Ensure staff is ready and dressed in appropriate attire with name tags prior to event start time.


* Requisition linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.


* Inspects “side work” (prerequisites for setup/preparation and closing) assignments to ensure tasks are completed.


* Relegates responsibility with follow-up to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.


* Anticipates client’s requests and automatically will provide them to guest.


* Investigates and resolves food quality and service complaints.
