In Process Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

Schneider Electric is seeking an In Process Quality Technician for incoming inspection on 2nd Shift to join our team in Mt Juliet, TN.

If you have a strong background in testing low and medium voltage products, coupled with the ability to collaborate closely with Engineering, we want to hear from you.

What will your responsibilities be?


* Perform detailed inspections of incoming components and materials to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.


* Identify, document, and escalate non-conformances; collaborate with internal teams to resolve quality issues promptly.



* Ensure adherence to company quality procedures, safety guidelines, and industry standards during all inspection activities.


* Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain smooth workflow and uphold quality expectations.


* Accurately record inspection results in SAP and maintain proper documentation for traceability and audits.



* Wear prescribed Personal Protective Equipment and maintain it in good condition.

Immediately report hazards, incidents, and accidents to supervisors.

Adhere to Provincial HS&E legislation, regulations, and company policies.



* High school diploma or GED required.

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

without company sponsorship and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.



* Skilled in validating and correcting technical documents, including test procedures.

Able to manage technical tasks independently with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret schematics.



* Effective communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills (written and oral), strong organizational abilities, and computer proficiency.

Basic Requirements:


* PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required; safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor



* Work is performed in a Manufacturing Environment, where prolonged period(s) of standing is required for duration of shift.



* Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, bend, squat, and climb a ladder to perform work.



* Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds independently and repetitively.

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $19.30-$28.90 per hour.

In addition, this position is eligible for overtime pay and may also include premium pay or differentials, depending on location.
