Talent Onboarding and Engagement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding & New Hire Experience


* Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities for all new hourly production associates.


* Conduct new hire orientations and ensure completion of required employment documentation.


* Serve as the primary point of contact during the onboarding process, addressing questions and concerns.


* Monitor attendance and engagement during the critical first 90 days of employment.


* Partner with supervisors to ensure successful integration of new employees into the workforce.

Employee Engagement & Retention


* Build strong relationships with production associates through regular floor presence and employee interaction.


* Conduct employee check-ins, coaching sessions, and stay interviews to improve retention.


* Address employee concerns and escalate issues when appropriate.


* Support employee recognition programs, engagement initiatives, and morale-building activities.


* Assist with conflict resolution and provide guidance on workplace policies and expectations.

Staffing Vendor Partnership


* Act as the primary liaison between Hansen Technologies and staffing agency partners.


* Coordinate workforce planning efforts to meet production staffing requirements.


* Monitor contingent workforce performance, attendance, turnover, and retention metrics.


* Facilitate communication regarding openings, employee performance, and workforce needs.


* Participate in staffing strategy discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Human Resources Support


* Assist with employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.


* Support policy communication and compliance efforts.


* Maintain accurate employee records and onboarding documentation.


* Assist with workforce reporting, attendance tracking, and employee data management.


* Support HR initiatives related to training, compliance, and employee development.
