General Service Associate

Summary

The General Service Associate provides essential labor support across multiple production departments, including press, sanding, detailing, and packaging.

This position is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on manufacturing tasks to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.

Essential Functions


* Provide labor support in key production areas, including press, sanding, detailing, and packaging


* Stand for extended periods while performing repetitive manufacturing tasks


* Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs on a regular basis.


* Safely operate hand and power tools such as grinders, sanders, drills, and other equipment


* Load and unload parts from production equipment


* Hang and remove parts from the paint line


* Detail parts after welding and painting to meet company standards


* Maintain a clean and organized work area


* Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)


* Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


* High school diploma or GED preferred


* Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


* Strong teamwork and communication skills


* Reliable attendance and punctuality


* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Physical Requirements


* Ability to stand for long periods of time on concrete flooring


* Occasionally lift materials over 25 pounds 


* Frequent bending, reaching, handling, and repetitive movement


* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

* Indoor manufacturing environment


* Fast-paced production setting


* Temperatures within the facility may vary seasonally and can become elevated during warmer months due to production operations
