Lacamas Creek Post Acute

Lacamas Creek Post Acute is seeking a detail oriented and organized Medical Records Assistant to join our team on a part time basis.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate resident medical records while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and confidentiality standards.

Pay


* $19.29 to $24.11 per hour, based on experience

Schedule


* Part time

Responsibilities


* Maintain and organize resident medical records in both electronic and paper formats


* Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date


* Process admissions, discharges, and transfers related to medical records


* File, scan, and retrieve documents as needed


* Protect resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations


* Assist with medical record audits and regulatory compliance


* Respond to requests for medical records in accordance with facility policies


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff


* Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent required


* Previous medical records or healthcare administrative experience preferred


* Knowledge of HIPAA and medical records procedures preferred


* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail


* Proficiency with computers and electronic health record systems


* Excellent communication and customer service skills


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
