Varian Medical Systems, a Siemens Healthineers company is hiring for a Quality Engineer, Product & Supplier Quality Excellence.

In this role you will play a critical role in improving quality performance across the product lifecycle by enabling data-driven decisions in support of both Service Quality and Supplier Quality functions.

Reporting directly to the Director of NCC, Productivity, and Service Quality, this position provides high-level analytical and quality engineering support to drive quality improvements and Non-Conformance Cost (NCC) reduction initiatives from incoming inspection through manufacturing, installation, and field service.

This role partners closely with Customer Service Operations, Supplier Quality Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing to support the development of dashboards and reporting tools by working with IT developers.

The Quality Engineer will act as a primary user and subject matter expert for completed dashboards, ensuring they meet business needs and provide actionable insights.

The position will directly support supplier-related NCC analysis and corrective action activities, while also tracking and supporting actions to achieve key Supply Chain KPIs for Before-Delivery Quality (% nonconforming product) and Post-Delivery Quality (excess cost/system at installation).

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical, data-driven quality professional with strong visualization skills, deep process understanding, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to drive measurable quality and cost improvements.

What You will do:


* Support the development of automated dashboards and reporting tools by collaborating with IT developers; act as a primary user and subject matter expert for completed dashboards (Power BI, SAP) to provide real-time visibility into NCC and supplier quality performance.


* Review and analyze data across the product lifecycle to identify trends and systemic issues, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.


* Provide insights and recommendations that support quality improvement and NCC reduction initiatives in both Service Quality and Supplier Quality performance.


* Perform supplier NCC analytics, reporting, and trend identification to support supplier improvement plans and corrective/preventive action activities.


* Establish processes and data structures for monitoring and reporting Supplier Related NCC, including supplier claim management, and act as liaison to headquarters for program status updates.
