We're seeking an experienced electrical engineer to develop and integrate high-voltage (HV) and pulsed-power components for microwave linear accelerator (linac) systems used in radiation oncology.

You should have strong EE, HV/pulsed-power fundamentals (charged particle/plasma physics a plus) and hands-on integration skills, including circuit design and troubleshooting communication interfaces.

You will independently design, build, debug, and run experiments, and present findings.

Strong cross-functional collaboration, project execution in a fast-paced environment, and effective supplier coordination are essential.

Responsibilities will include


* Design, improve and integrate HV and pulsed-power electrical systems for microwave linac applications.


* Design, run, and interpret experiments.


* Develop specifications internally and externally; design and validate tests.


* Provide scope, cost, and schedule for research and engineering projects.


* Coordinate resources to deliver projects on budget and on schedule.


* Troubleshoot and root-cause analysis of component and system failures.


* Partner with scientists, engineers, and suppliers to resolve complex technical issues.


* Support Manufacturing with out-of-box failures.


* Support Field Service when issues cannot be resolved in the field.


* Improve documentation, baseline data, and operating/maintenance procedu

Job Requirements


* MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Plasma Physics, Engineering Physics, or related field.


* 5+ years designing, building, integrating, and maintaining pulsed-power systems.


* Hands-on experience with relevant lab and HV test equipment.


* Self-directed team player


* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.


* Able to work effectively with experts across disciplines.


* Strong communication and presentation skills.


* Experience with circuit simulation and ECAD a plus.
