Varian Medical Systems, a Siemens Healthineers company is seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Lifecycle Manager to lead and govern the end-to-end lifecycle of supply chain master data in SAP S4 HANA.

This role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, compliant, and business-aligned master data processes spanning creation, maintenance, archiving, and retirement.
The successful candidate will partner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and IT stakeholders to drive data governance, process standardisation, and continuous improvement across the master data lifecycle.

What You will do:

Master Data Lifecycle Management


* Own and manage theend-to-end lifecycleof SAP master data objects (e.g., Material, Vendor, Customer, BOM, Routings).


* Define, implement, and enforcelifecycle policiesincluding creation, approval, maintenance, archiving, and deletion.


* Ensure master data supports business processes acrossPlan, Source, Make, Deliver.

Governance & Data Quality


* Establish andmaintaindata governance frameworks, standards, and policies aligned with enterprise data strategy.


* Monitor and improvedata quality KPIs(accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness).


* Leaddata quality remediation initiativesand root cause analysis for recurring issues.


* Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Process Design & Optimization


* Design and standardizeglobal master data processeswithin SAP S/4HANA.


* Identifyopportunities toautomate workflowsand reduce manual intervention.


* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean or Six Sigma principles.

Stakeholder Engagement


* Act as thecentral pointof contactfor Supply Chain master data requirements.


* Collaborate with business stakeholders to align master data design with operational needs.


* Partner with IT teams for system enhancements, integrations, and migrations.

SAP & Tools Expertise


* Configure and optimize SAP master data processes (MDG, S/4HANA).


* Support implementation and enhancement ofSAP MDG (Master Data Governance)where applicable.
